Wilson 1200 CGI Complete Set Review
The Wilson CGI 1200 complete golf set is new for 2015, it comes with 11 clubs in total including a driver, 3 wood, 4 hybrid, 5 to Sand Wedge in irons and a putter. The set also comes complete with a stand bag and head covers for the driver, 3 wood and 4 hybrid.
The Wilson 1200 CGI set comes in both right and left handed options as well as in a plus one inch option in right handed only. The clubs are one inch longer to suit taller golfers, typically suited for golfers 6’1” and taller. There is also a all graphite option available in right handed. The entire set of clubs are all graphite as opposed to the standard steel sets where only the driver, 3 wood and 4 hybrid come in graphite shafts.
Cole Golf can customize sets on request, for example reducing the length of the clubs to suit shorter golfers like teenagers for example.

Wilson have dominated the complete package set market in recent years due to a combination of innovative technology and by offering great value for money. The CGI 1200 set is ideal for beginners or improvers, if you have been borrowing clubs and are ready to make the next step up to buying a set the 1200 CGI is for you.
The driver features an oversized 460 cc head, the larger head makes the club more forgiving and easier to hit. The large heel and toe area on the face of the driver mean you will still gain distance and straighter ball flight even on an off centre drive.
The Wilson 3 woods tend to feature a larger head design to help you gain confidence when you are standing over the ball. The low centre of gravity helps you launch the ball with greater accuracy. The 4 hybrid is a lot easier to hit than the traditional longer irons, the hybrid is also more forgiving and allows you to gain further distance even on an off centre strike. Traditional longer irons such as the 3 or 4 iron are a lot less forgiving.
The irons have a wide sole that encourages forgiveness and allows you to get under the ball a lot easier. Like the 3 wood they also promote confidence at address. They are cavity irons which aids accuracy so your iron shots are not to wayward.
The putter is a traditional shape with a soft insert and clear alignment aids at the top of the club to help you line up your putts to the target with ease.
A sleek and good value complete golf set from Wilson.
