Seve Augusta Complete Set Review

With the Masters only 5 weeks away, now is an ideal time to review the new 2012 Seve Augusta complete set by MD Golf. The set is named after the great man's two wins at the Augusta National course.

The set itself comprises of a 6/4 Titanium 10.5 driver (6% of aluminium, and 4% of vanadium), fairway 3 wood, 4 hybrid, 5 iron down to a sand wedge and a stylish putter. The driver, 3 wood, hybrid and putter all come with very high quality headcovers.

MD are aiming specifically at the golfer who wants a high quality set but is on more of a budget, the Seve Augusta complete set is the perfect solution. We do agree with MD that this set does ooze quality and is complimented with an 8 way divider cart bag. The whole set looks great and is wonderfully finished.

This is one of the only complete sets currently on the market to come with a 6/4 Titanium driver and UST Mamiya grips, the quality of the driver and fairway woods is unusually high for a package set. The irons are perimeter weighted with true temper steel shafts for greater feel.

MD Golf believes this is the best package set on the market and it is hard to disagree with them. The Seve Augusta set is an excellent choice for a golfer who is looking to upgrade their complete set with a quality package set and one that won’t break the bank either. This set comes highly recommended and is currently available at Cole Golf.
